A very interesting Silk Road Region issue imitating a Sasanian dinar

LOCAL ISSUES, Silk Road Region. Circa 5th-8th centuries. Dinar (Gold, 27 mm, 3.34 g, 12 h), imitating a Sasanian dinar. Sasanian-style bust to left, wearing elaborate mural crown. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants, both wearing crowns and each holding a spear; to upper left and right, crescent and star. An interesting local imitation of charming style. The flan slightly wavy, otherwise, about extremely fine.
